In the spring and summer of 2025, Sean served as a US Youth Ambassador at the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, Japan. Working with a team of talented colleagues and leaders, Sean helped to welcome over 1,000,000 guests to the US Pavilion, and personally met high ranking leaders like Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
In the spring of 2025, Sean served as a Judicial Intern for the honorable Judge George M. Jirotka, of the 6th Judicial Circuit of Florida. Sean had the opportunity to shadow Judge Jirotka, and learn more about the inner-workings of the judicial process pertinent to the Pinellas County community.
As the US National Coordinator for 2024 and 2025, Sean was fortunate to work with national and global leaders in promotion, engagement, and involvement in the Hult Prize program. This organization works to engage startups and entrepreneurial leaders in the spirit of creating a better future for all.
In the fall of 2024, Sean traveled to Fukuoka, Japan to serve as an English Teacher and earn a TEFL certificate with GHJ International. In this collaborative program, Sean worked with elementary, middle, and junior high school students to support their English learning. Today, Sean serves as the Alumni Chair of the organization, supporting future teachers.
Throughout the 2024 year, Sean served as President of the National Association of Graduate and Professional Students, the largest student higher education advocacy organization in the United States, representing over 500,000 graduate students. In this role, Sean worked collaboratively with partners around the country to ensure the unique voices of students were recognized.
In the summer of 2024, Sean served as a Fellow with the Florida Council of 100, a critical organization that brings together top business leaders to enhance the economy and quality of life for all Floridians. In his work, Sean was fortunate to meet many executives from organizations like Publix supermarkets, Brightline trains, and L3Harris Technologies.
During the 2022-2023 school year, Sean served as the Campus Governor of the University of South Florida St. Petersburg campus. In this role, Sean served as the voice of students, and led a team of student leaders focused on critical issues in areas like community engagement, sustainability, and student life.
In 2022, Sean served as the District Office Manager for now-former US Congressman Charlie Crist. Working with a talented team, Sean helped to oversee the Congressman's internship program, casework intake, and engagement with constituents and activities relevant to the 13th Congressional District of Florida.
In 2025, Sean was selected to serve as the inaugural Director of Memberships for the Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP) Global Branch. In this role, Sean works with talented global leaders to engage members and facilitate partnerships relevant to the success of emerging leaders in global involvement.
Sean has served as a Global Goals Ambassador for the United Nations Association of the United States (UNA-USA) both in 2024 and 2025. Representing SDG 11 and SDG 17, Sean strongly believes in the frameworks laid out by the Sustainable Development Goals as a model to drive meaningful action at the local level.
Since 2024, Sean has served as a Trusted Researcher for Ballotpedia, supporting their work in compiling relevant and factual information on candidates running for office throughout the United States. As a nonpartisan organization, this work is focused on informing voters relevant to candidate information.
Beginning in 2024, Sean has worked with the US-ASEAN Young Professionals Association as their North America Co-Chair. In this work, Sean helps to oversee the organizational communication portfolio, provide consultation relevant to meaningful activities that are mission-aligned, and engage members around the world more broadly.
Since 2023, Sean has served as a member of the Board of Directors for First Contact Tampa Bay, formerly known as 211 Tampa Bay Cares. Working with a team of talented community leaders, Sean has been fortunate to heavily engage in activities relevant to legislative support for the organization, including visiting with lawmakers in Tallahassee and local Tampa Bay officials.
As the Student Ambassador Representative, Sean served on the USF Alumni Association Board of Directors in 2023. Learning from many talented USF alumni, Sean was able to help support the work of alumni engagement, as well as help develop the next iteration of the strategic plan to carry the organization forward in the coming years.
In 2021, Sean was selected as a Millennium Fellow, made possible by the Millennium Campus Network. In this role, he learned alongside international youth the importance of the UN SDGs, and the steps every person could take in order to create a better future. His work with MCN has allowed him opportunities for engagement with the World Bank and UN more broadly.
In 2019, Sean was appointed by the Clearwater City Council as a member of the Charter Review Committee. Working alongside talented community leaders, Sean helped to review Clearwater's "governing document" and suggest relevant changes.
Appointed as the Clearwater At-Large Representative to the St. Petersburg Clearwater International Airport Noise Abatement Task Force in 2021, Sean worked with community leaders to ensure aircraft activity was within a voluntary window of recommended use.
Selected for the inaugural Pentland Collective in 2023, Sean joined international youth leaders in the consultation and advisement with senior business leaders for organizations such as Pentland Brands to discuss relevant topics to workplace engagement and support.
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sean led a research tour throughout Tampa Bay to understand how different industries responded to this crisis, and would adapt moving forward. His research was featured at the Harvard Kennedy School.
During the initial period of discovery for Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, Sean led a research tour to better understand how different industries throughout Tampa Bay would utilize this technology into the future. His research was featured on the Michael Smerconish blog.
While teaching English in Japan, Sean led a research tour to understand how local communities in Japan were utilzing the UN Sustainable Development Goals in practice. He was fortunate to visit major corporations such as Toyota.
